THE WEEK BEFORE LAST
The closet transformations were completed for the most part. These shelves had to come out of this closet and go to the studio closet in the next picture. Removing them made room for Mom's stuff to go into this closet. The boxes in the bottom need to go, and a lot of Mom's things still need to be moved from her former apartment to here and to storage!
This is the studio closet. It's now mostly a mixture of office supplies, art and quilting supplies, and other odds and ends. I love the after! It feels good to be organized.
Sally and Mitzi Mae were groomed.
Aren't they beautiful?

And I thought about weeding this weed-friendly raised bed so we could plant a veggie garden there but I decided to take a picture of it instead.
I'm holding out for more rain to make the weed pulling easier. We got quite a bit yesterday and it's in the forecast all week. C'mon rain!
SATURDAY
George rented a trencher to dig trenches for a sprinkler system. He worked his butt off all day too.
And Little Miss Daisy (our problem child) got under the fence and into a field in the back. We had to get two ladders out so I could get over the fence to get back there and get her. She was acting odd, sitting down, and wouldn't come to me at first when I called her. I was trying to avoid going through vines but she started out into the pasture so I ventured through them and was able to get her.
I think an insect or something bit her though because that night, her eyes were barely open and a little swollen. Plus, when I first got her back over the fence she was licking a place on her leg that had a pin-hole size spot of blood. I put some of Mitzi's eye drops in her eyes and gave her some Benadryl and she's getting better.
And Mom did jigsaw puzzles.

puzzles with oversized pieces.

Karen, the Harasser stopped

Josh, Sheri, and their dog Sakari came over late in the day. Josh and his Dad investigated the engine on Josh and Sheri's boat. They bought a battery and the horn honks!
Sakari is a 5-1/2 month old Husky/German Shepherd Mix.
Sakari was Sheri's Christmas

MONDAY
And last but not least, George talked to his Mom on the phone while we were sitting out in the shop. Usually around 4:00 or so each afternoon, we either sit up under the pavilion or open the doors to the shop and sit there. We usually sit in the shop when it's rainy or windy.
