A Beautiful Sight!

We've met five different neighbors for a total of 10 people in our soon-to-be neighborhood. That's more than we knew the entire time we lived in our last neighborhood, and we were there for 18 years!

They're all very nice and helpful! One neighbor across the street, Tony, texts pics to Geo when there's action on our lot. We head that way ASAP if we can to grab some pics, and see what's going on. It's only 15 minutes or so from the RV park.

After many days of rain that had just stopped, we were surprised to get a pic from Tony earlier this week.

We'll take it!
Thanks Tony!

We arrived to see a trencher digging
ditches for our water, electric and sewer lines.
Woo-hoo!
Mr. Trencher in action!
It was a beautiful sight to see!
😍

The next day, we returned and no one was there. It was an opportunity for Geo to more closely check out the dig on our future digs.

The lot was a mud hole of sorts but
Inspector Geo maneuvered his way around.
PVC plumbing sticking up!

There's plenty more work to be done before it's ready for the concrete to be poured but we're just happy to see the digging!

Geo's assessment:
So far so good!
 👍  😀  👌

Aerial Views

For awhile now, Geo's had a hankering for a drone. He finally gave in and bought one!  He's a newbie at it but took some drone pics of the lot. I think he did great!

The front of the house is
at the bottom of this pic.
They pulled a board away in the front to get the trencher in. That's where the garage will be. The lot is pie shaped and the large part of the pie is in the front which you can probably tell.

Here's a view with the back
of the house at the bottom.

Here's the road in front & our truck.
The dogs and I are inside the truck.
Can you see us?
If so, you have impressive vision!
👀 😁 👓

A side view.
You might notice that our
house is on a slight curve.

Can you see the drone in the pic below?
It's the black dot almost
in the cloud-covered sun.
I cropped it a bit to be more visible.

Here it is again after dropping closer.
No cropping on this one.

That's it for now.
Be back soon.

Big Smiles,
D~~~~
