Christmas with Our Kids and Grandkids

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with our kids and Grandkids.

After dinner, ice cream & cupcakes were served to
celebrate Crystal's birthday which is the 23rd.

What a goofball face!
I look like I'm up to no good.
I really wasn't though.

 Twelve candles to represent
thirty something years.

Good pic of Sheri.

 That's my Michael!
Mitzi Mae is looking over his shoulder.
We came across the picture of Mitzi at Target
and it looks exactly like her! People think we
commissioned someone to paint her.
I miss her so much!

I like this one of Josh & Sheri.
Lo and behold, Mitzi Mae is
looking over Josh's shoulder too.

I LOVE this one!

Next, it was time to open presents!

Texas stuff--YAY!
(and other clothes)

More Texas.

By George it's My George

Package joy!

More package joy!

It looks like he's unwrapping Sally!
Her head is coming out of the present.

Christmas joy!

Nice!
A love frame!
Perfect for one of their wedding pictures.

And more love!

A present within a present!
The expression on their faces is priceless.

It's just what they wanted.

A wireless router so they can play games
with their cousin in Denton on the X-Box.
They were thrilled!

We had a very nice and special time together!

From our family to yours,
Merry Christmas!

Suzette & Allen's Christmas Party

We had a great time at Suzette & Allen's Christmas party!  It was a White Elephant event and I think everyone had a fun time.  I thought I'd share a few pics.

Our Hosts

This is my friend Debbie. I met her on Facebook through Suzette. This is my second time to visit with her live and in person.  She's very nice and I look forward to seeing her more.

Just us!

Suzette taking a pic of a group of us
as I'm taking picture of her (below)!

In these group photos, we've just been
seated for the White Elephant Exchange.

 Happy, happy, joy, joy, joy!
I can't remember his name
but he was very funny!

Suzette & George

George, Laura, Dan & Allen's sister
Laura stole my beautiful snow globe
in the white elephant but that's okay!

I love his cool Santa Hat!

Suzette's house is fabulously decorated for Christmas!

Here's a few shots from one of her bathrooms.
Cute vignette on the counter.

Full counter view.

You can't really see it but this Santa picture has little blinking lights all over it. She has four or five different ones throughout the house. I'm kicking myself for not buying one or two when we went shopping last week!
Check out the snowman
in the corner!

Time to go home
but it sure was fun!

Wishing You Lots of Christmas Smiles!

Preston, Sally & Daisy

I went to Preston's last football game in October and wanted to share this pic of him looking cute in his uniform.

And our brave gals perched on the back porch watching out for rabbits, squirrels or any other varmints. Of course, if it thunders, they'll be at the door in an instant wanting to hide in the house!

Smiling and Laughing,

Two Granddudes + One New Granddog = FUN!

Preston, Triston and our new Granddog Isabella Grace (Isa for short) came to visit for for a few days.  Isa is a Mal-Shih, (Maltese-Shih Tzu mix) and only seven weeks old.  She's adorable and tiny!  I grabbed a ruler and found out that she's 8-1/2 inches long, and with the end of the ruler on the floor, and the middle of her body against it, she's a huge 4 inches tall!  Here's some pics:

 Isa trying to nap

Geo wanted to hold her and she went
to sleep tucked in his arm as you can see.

Sally didn't want anything to do with Isa
but Daisy really liked her.  Aren't they
cute nose to nose?

You'd think they were Mom and daughter.

Last but not least, here's my guys
drawing and painting pumpkins
in the studio.

On Saturday, we went to the movies and saw Johnny English Reborn.  I loved it!  It was definitely my kind of movie--somewhat silly and clean but with a good story.  Johnny English is a cross between James Bond and the Pink Panther!  I haven't loved a movie that much in probably 20 years.  I'm sure it's not for many folks but it sure made me laugh!

When we left the movie, I got to thinking that if this movie has "Reborn" in the title, perhaps there was one before it so I Googled it.  Sure enough, there was one released in 2003.  We looked it up on Apple TV and found out that we can rent it for $3.99.  I'm dying to see it but we're going to wait until Preston and Triston come stay again so they can watch it too.

With Johnny English Smiles,

Halloween is Flying In

It's nearly the middle of October and Halloween is creeping in.  I took these pics of our fun Granddudes Preston and Triston in August while we were wandering through a store.  I love the purple and the fellas under the hats!

Josh & Sheri's Wedding

It's been over a month but I'm finally getting the pictures from Josh and Sheri's wedding posted.

It all started by the pool in the afternoon.

Then came the wedding.
I love the waterfall background!

Next, of course, was the reception!

The Traditional Dances

Sheri's parents had been married the
longest of all the guests--43 years--so
the garter went to her Mom.

I didn't know who these kiddos were
but the little girl in the black and white
dress danced the night away and
she was good at it too!

Fun with bubbles!

Adam was hilarious!

And last but not least my very
favorite picture of the newlyweds!

The wedding was lovely and a very good time!
Congratulations to Josh & Sheri!

Many Smiles,
D~~~~
