Durango~Day 2

It has taken me a couple of weeks but I finally got around to posting the Day 2 in Durango pics.

We woke up to some unique,
thin and wide icicles hanging
from the cabin's porch.

Then we rode the Durango and Silverton
Narrow Gauge Railroad train from
Durango to Silverton and back.

It was 3-1/2 hours each way!

The views were magnificent!

George put his head out the window
to snap this pic of Jack and Middy
sitting in the seat in front of us.
I like that the countryside is
reflected in the window too!

Letting off steam as we cross a bridge.

This is at Rockwood.
A railroad graveyard perhaps?

We all had our heads out the
window at one time or another
checking out this stop for water.

It started snowing as we neared Silverton.
We had two hours there so we ate lunch
and walked through a few shops.

It was really cold too!
It didn't feel cold when it snowed
in Durango the day before.

Can you see it snowing?
This is on the way back.

Fabulous pic of Jack and Middy!
Love it!

That's it for Day 2.  Hopefully, it won't take me two weeks to get to Day 3!  I'll try to do better but there's a lot going on around here these days.  Preston and Triston are coming for the weekend too.  Yahoo!
