In May, we took our teenage grandsons, Preston & Triston, on an RV trip to Disney World.

We're on the ferry from the
I created a little video in iMovie about the trip.
Okay, maybe it's not that little.
It's almost 15 minutes!
I am having one heck of time getting it in a format to post on this blog though. I think (and hope) that I almost have the issues whooped! If so, I should be able to post it soon.

I wanted to mention a little bit about
Okay, maybe not a little but a lot!
First of all, it's quite impressive!
Second, we loved it!
The iMovie video that I'll be posting includes a bit of footage from our site #918 and the loop's area surrounding it but I will be posting a separate video about the campground. (Lord willing' and the creek don't rise! I've got to get the first one figured out before I'll even attempt to finish the second one.)
Anyhow, I can't say enough
good things about this place!

The campground is huge--750 acres--yet it's quaint because it's distributed throughout 28 loops as you can see from the map below.

Sites are also available in various sizes and 11 laundry facilities are spread around the park.

but this side has some additional info.
The campground's coziness is also created by the abundant pine and cypress trees along with tropical trees and other glorious green foliage as they abound along the sides of the roads, around each campsite, and throughout every loop.
The park is well groomed.
Some is landscaped and some is natural.
Either way, it's all awesome!
Driving in the park is only allowed for entering and exiting. Golf carts can be rented for $60 a day but Disney's buses are free and run constantly.
We're trekking around in the golf cart!
You can also rent cabins, bikes, fishing gear, canoes, kayaks, pontoon boats and more. Other amenities include two Trading Posts, a pool, horseback riding, basketball, dog park, dog walking paths, jogging trails, archery, shuffleboard, tennis courts, wagon rides, nightly movies, a restaurant, and other goodies. Of course, you'll need to be prepared to pay Disney prices which you can find by clicking here.

We brought out the bean bag toss and
played on the dog walking path behind the RV.
Elmer & Chewy made a new and
bigger friend in the dog park.
Elmer and the new friend had quite a time
running around and getting acquainted
while Chewy wasn't sure what to do!
It was all very cute though!
As you can see, many of the RVers
camp with the spirit of Disney in mind!

Triston was ready for fajita night at the RV!

A guy fishing behind one of the
two Trading Posts in the campground.
We opened the RV door one day and this
sweet, little guy was staring us in the face.
He's tucked away in the awning's hinge area.
He stayed there the entire day.
The squirrels were extra friendly too!
It was such a neat trip!
George and I plan to go back.
