Yesterday, we decided to start on building the garden shed which meant buying supplies. I told Geo that I really needed to mow in the dog's pen first. That sounded good to him so he headed outside, and I went out a few minutes later.
When I got out to the shop, Geo had the cover on the engine of the lawnmower open and was staring at it like deer in the headlights. I thought perhaps there was a dead body hidden somewhere inside! A little tiny dead body perhaps. Turns out that he had filled the gas tank the day before, and it now had about 1/4 of a tank of gas left. Where'd the gas go, you ask? So did I. It leaked into the crankshaft. I have to wonder how does that happen. Does it just decide that it's bored and goes looking for a good time? Is there more fun happenin' in the crankshaft? Let's see--gas tank, crankshaft, gas tank, crankshaft. Yeah, crankshaft definitely sounds like more fun. Nevertheless, mowing was out.
We then decided we'd go get some supplies to build the garden shed. As we were about to hook up the trailer to the pickup, Geo noticed a HUGE chunk of tread hanging off the trailer's tire! He assessed that situation and found out that the lug nuts were rusted on too--stuck big time! He knew he had a little bit of Liquid Wrench somewhere so the search was on. Eventually, it was found but it wasn't easy! Now that the drop of remaining Liquid Wrench was on the lug nuts, we could go buy supplies without the trailer of course. Here's what we got.
Lumber, a door, two windows, liquid wrench and two boxes. The boxes aren't for the shed walls just in case you were wondering. By the time we got back, it was time to eat lunch and for Geo to go to work. It's a start!
With Smiles,
D~~~~
