Day 2
We went to Lowe's and
Home Depot to buy lumber.
We left with this.
What does this have to do with
building a garden shed you ask.
Well, if you must know...
it beats me!

Day 3
We actually bought lumber! YAY!
After all, we needed something to
attach the door and windows to.
We decided to frame the walls inside the shop especially since it was super windy! We started with the back wall.
We carried the back wall frame in two sections to the foundation where he nailed them together and put on siding. We left it there for the night.
Day 4
Sunday
We lifted the first wall into place but it wasn't easy because the wind was blowing like crazy! First, we got it up high enough to put five bricks under it. Then, we lifted it high enough to get those saw horses under it. Next, we got it up just enough to get that ladder under it. At that point, Geo tied it to the truck. Once it was secure, we pushed it into place. Whew!
Day 5
Monday
George took the day off work
to work on the garden shed.
He also got the front wall partially framed.
In case you're wondering, I wanted a garden shed like Paul James, the gardener guy, who hosts Gardening By the Yard on HGTV although I think that show is no longer on, except occasional reruns. I loved him too! Sniff, sniff. With Garden Shed Smiles,
